At first glance this lock appears to be well built but I'm giving three stars as follows: even with the lock unlocked). I scratched the paint trying to open it, so the item is non-returnable. None of the keys fit into the lock - the narrow metal protection in the lock hole does not allow the key to be inserted. - As another reviewer noted, the cut of the keys looks very generic - as if all of these locks came with the same combination of pins in the tumbler. They must be randomized for each lock. So I'll just take some parts out of it and get rid of the rest. For the most part, this is a waste of time. :/
