Like others I bought an inflated manual and got a classic one. However, Revain have responded well to the return and I can confirm that I received the correct item when I reordered. As for the coffee maker itself, I'm not going to convince anyone. I'm just here to help anyone who is wondering if premium crafting is worth it. When I use it, I'll say yes. The design differs slightly from the so-called classic. This one seems a little bigger (I'd swear 8 cups is closer to 10), but more importantly to me, it's definitely heavier and heavier. thicker glass See photo (yes, it's tea, so what, it's late, but I'm old). I bought this coffee maker hoping that it would last many years longer than my classic. Just holding it in my hands, I'm sure it will be. In this my first impression as the owner of a broken 'classic', I really feel that this is a much better product once you understand the differences and even a bit of craftsmanship.
