Review on Delco 4 Cylinder Ignition PerTronix 1143 Ignitor by Jose Schweigert

I converted my Ferguson TO30 tractor to a full 12 volt system. The Pertronix module was the final step in the point and capacitor upgrade. One of the most important points when converting 4 cylinder engines is to use a 3.5 ohm ignition coil. Many coils have a resistance of 1.5 ohms or less, and a 3.5 ohm coil was, for me at least, crucial for the conversion. It's been a few weeks now and I couldn't be happier. The tractor starts much better and easier than with the old points and condenser system. I highly recommend this conversion using the Pertronix module. The launch improvement was nothing short of outstanding.
