Review on πŸš€ Wood Trick Monster Pickup Wooden: Unleash the Power of Engineering by Anthony Lopez

There is a lot of very good stuff here. There are challenges. and caution

After building over 20 of these 3D puzzles, I came to the conclusion that each of them has unique technical characteristics. Distinguishing features of this 74-sided unit include suspension and a unique propshaft. The suspension is fully active front and rear on all 4 corners. The universal joint is part of the gearbox that works like a real one while driving the monster truck. The big plus of this "puzzle" is that it is NOT powered by rubber bands, but by a metal spiral spring. The biggest issue I had was the design of the very unique wheel/tire assemblies which undoubtedly gave this monster a 'very cool' look. But . I must offer the following "caution". On page 55 the rear axle is built and on page 64 the front axle is built. These axles have the same dimensions in the cross section (where the wheel hubs are mounted). They measure 0.31" x 0.31" (7.8mm x 7.8mm). See page 72 for installing the wheel hubs. 5 parts (192, 191, 193, 190 and 200) can be used as "inner" wheel hubs. HERE IS ATTENTION. The hole in part 191 is 0.30" x 0.23" (7.7mm x 5.8mm). I recommend resolving the conflict between the axle size and the size of this hole before completing the 'inner' wheel hub installation on page 72. Dismantling the wheel hub to resolve this conflict is a bummer. . of over 20 puzzles I've built. This is one of my favorites.
