I bought this for my son for his 14th birthday and he loved it. Mind you, he's very tech-savvy and loves figuring out how to put things together. He put it together in three days, and I was hoping it would take him a month. trying to keep his mind busy during covid :). In any case, it is durable, the materials are perfectly finished, of the highest quality, and the instructions are very clear and concise. Next, let's get the safe. I love this company!

This is a solid truck when finished. Toothpicks were a very clever way of putting things together and they hold up really well. The bad news is that if the rubber band rips and tears sooner or later, you'll have to take a lot apart to replace it, or you can just leave it alone. Pay very close attention to the instructions, several times when I thought everything was going smoothly I realized I had made a mistake three steps before and had to rebuild. I don't know how transparency or thickness relates to this model. It was fun putting it together. I followed the directions, removing the burrs and applying the wax to the appropriate areas. When I was done I turned it on and it worked fine. It was nice to know that the time spent on assembly was worth it. I would spend an hour or two a day on it. And more than once I had a working model. I will collect others when finances allow. A very fun project.

In general, this is a good model. Be careful when removing parts from panels as they are brittle and can crack/break. Also, the part numbering isn't as clear as other models I've made, just be careful. The instructions are mostly clear and there are YouTube videos if you get stuck. After building over 20 of these 3D puzzles, I came to the conclusion that each of them has unique technical characteristics.
