This is a solid truck when finished. Toothpicks were a very clever way of putting things together and they hold up really well. The bad news is that if the rubber band rips and tears sooner or later, you'll have to take a lot apart to replace it, or you can just leave it alone. Pay very close attention to the instructions, several times when I thought everything was going smoothly I realized I had made a mistake three steps before and had to rebuild. One of the best wooden puzzles I've ever collected.
