This was a replacement for my 2006 GMC Canyon. The original thermostat opened about 160 degrees and gave off little heat in winter. This bike starts to open at 190 and fully opens at 200. Winter warmth is better and fuel economy is better. I'm not the one who counts every kilometer driven as a tank. I generally fill up less for the rides I've been on. I changed the thermostat myself.
