Preparatory work may be required before use
- A thicker o-ring must be purchased to ensure a good seal. - Due to the paint quality, the contact side had to be renewed. (I completely removed the paint with solvent and sanded the contact side on a flat surface. Also, I didn't want the gear oil to dissolve the paint.) - After following the steps above, the bypass was installed and did the job. no leaks.
