Normal sweater. I bought a small gray heather. With all my clothes, the first thing I do is check what material they are made of. To my disappointment, the sweater is not 100% cotton as it says on Amazon, but a blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester. Then I got the real feel of a sweater and to my surprise it was soft and smooth. The sweater itself isn't very thick, so it's best to wear a t-shirt underneath if you wear it in winter. The main issue for me is the length of the sweater. I was expecting the sweater to be around 26-27 inches long in the small size, but was surprised to find that the length is around 28.5 inches from the neck opening to the bottom of the sweater. I would recommend this sweater to anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive sweater with great build quality. Just note that the body length of this sweater is slightly longer.
