This is the greatest help yet to both the dogs and me! A couple of my dogs (I have four) couldn't get on the couch unless I lifted them up. And they always wanted up at the most inconvenient times. I figured I might as well try this thing but was afraid the dogs would just look at it, and then look at me, as if to say, You must be crazy! But once they got the hang of it, there was no problem at all. It stays in place when they're on it (something I was worried about), and they go right up it now like it's the most natural thing in the world. Another good thing I hadn't expected is that it doesn't hold on to dog hair, which is quite surprising since it has a velvety texture, which also keeps it from being slippery. I've had it about six weeks now, and it looks brand new. Highly recommended! When/if it does wear out, I will definitely get another one.
