I only bought them to rip AMT for a project and I ended up really enjoying the sound, especially after adding a 6 inch subwoofer have to round out low frequencies. . That would be the only thing they lack, but the truth is that a 4 inch speaker doesn't have the ability to move the air volume for that "bump" that some are looking for, but I don't have them for that bought and not I do not expect that. I've since ordered a few more kits in 6.5 to loot more tweeters, but I'm keeping the kit safe and sound for backup speakers while I rebuild my usual setup. better point and tilt and they sound even better. So from an audiophile I have to say these speakers are definitely worth the money but if you are buying these to replace your KEFS or B&W or whatever, then this is your thing a bad buy and not for you they will never be the focus of my listening room but they will make backyard or garage tunes sound damn good and at this price they are very affordable with little risk of having multiple kits idle .
