Review on 🔌 MAKERELE Waterproof Electrical Electronics Enclosure - 150×150×70mm by Redfish Rosenhoover

This is a larger waterproof junction box for larger projects. I needed a box to house several electronic components to protect the electronics from the usual metal dust found in a welding or machine shop. This box worked fine. The body and lid are made from more flexible ABS plastic, so aren't very rigid or rubbery. It is very complete with the o-ring for the lid already installed. The kit also includes the necessary screws to attach the lid and a set of screws and dowels to attach the box. The knockouts to accommodate the cable gland are made of softer rubber that easily slides in and out with the help of a retaining groove. I prefer a stiffer material for mounting the through holes, so I 3D printed some thin plates to attach the glands to the box. I think you could just cut the rubber pieces and run a cable through them, but I'm not sure if it's waterproof if you need it. I took off a star because it would be nice if a traditional harder plastic plug was used instead of rubber plugs. Otherwise, this box is just beautiful and perfect for my purposes.
