Faulty Waterproof Box: Not Worth the Investment

This product is a huge disappointment for any industrial and scientific situation. Although the waterproof claim seems promising, the actual functionality falls short. The material to which the box is made is of low quality and it fails to keep out moisture. The screw structure is loosey-goosey, making installation unsafe. One of the pros is that the shipping was prompt. Bear in mind, though, it's not worth the hassle of returning.

Weatherproof electrical box

Looks like a great box for outdoor electrical cabinets. Supplied with silicone gasket and rubber grommets on each side.

Heavy Duty Junction Box

This is a larger waterproof junction box for larger projects. I needed a box to house several electronic components to protect the electronics from the usual metal dust found in a welding or machine shop. This box worked fine. The body and lid are made from more flexible ABS plastic, so aren't very rigid or rubbery. It is very complete with the o-ring for the lid already installed. The kit also includes the necessary screws to attach the lid and a set of screws and dowels to attach the box. The
