I confess the installation of the first is a little confused. At first the head had a hard time fitting into the 3/4" hole I had drilled. I went through and felt better. I put the screw in and made sure it didn't bind. You really have to just screw it in a minute or two longer because the screw is so long.The second install was easy after I put the first one in. The power is REAL.I've used them to assemble hardcover bookshelves and the shelves held up despite of the heavy weight and the flimsy and relatively thin shelves.
