The strap comes with new screws and a small screwdriver although it wasn't great and I used the original screwdriver which I kept. *You must reuse the bar with the screws, you will not get a new one with tape*. The second photo shows the location of the screws. After removing the screws, use a screwdriver to pry the strip out of the old tape. Ready in less than 5 minutes.
