Minor update since purchasing this product from Revain.com in October 2009. This hard drive was purchased specifically for my Playstation 3 and can I say, it still is flawless! This product is a cotton item. My PS3 is still very quiet, very fast, smooth and GREAT. Yes, sometimes I accidentally left my PS3 on all day only to come back and find my PS3 on, but only because I noticed the green light on the PS3 was on (indicating the system was powered on). Surprisingly, the PS3 stayed cool for the most part. You must ensure that the PS3 is in a well-ventilated area. The hard drive is so durable that my PS3 STILL has the largest storage capacity of any Sony console on the market. The hard drive received the transfer of the PS3 operating system quickly and error-free.
