Good storage compartment, not the best quality control, could be better

I think it's crazy that Subaru doesn't use the fuse cover as a little coin/card storage. When I first bought my car I removed the lid thinking it was storage but found it wasn't. Stumbled across this third party tray and was glad to see someone else thought the same. Well it opens, contains something as advertised and closes safely. Don't worry about it falling off by itself or not staying closed. The finish in terms of color and texture is ok too, I have no complaints and it's a very close match. The main issue is how it is shaped/shaped. it has a "kink" where it's kind of curved just because of the way it's made. This forces it to not sit flush and curve outward on one side. It's easy to tell it's a replacement part as it looks like it won't fit when installed. Case for me - I just used V2 and the only difference is that 1 fuse is 15A instead of 10A on V3 compared to V2. After all, you don't want to be using this to store coins as the interior is all plastic. That means coins and other things you throw in will make a nasty rumble. No problem if you store maps or other things. thing there. I would stick a felt pad on the inside so I can put change in there with less rumble, but I don't think it's worth the effort as the setup is unsightly (bent) to begin with. I'm not sure if I have a manufacturing defect or it's just that.
