Ignore the clutter, but I've included a photo of our GE microwave (from 2003) with new lighting. This is the warm white version. Look how bright they are! I was very pleasantly surprised. And although some people have written that the bulbs don't change (or work at all) on the "Low" setting, which I don't dispute, there is very little dimming of the bulbs on "Low" in our microwave. . Not enough to be a night light, for example. PS: The reviewers who mentioned that GE uses glue to hold the original bulbs in place during shipping weren't lying. One of our light bulbs broke in half and I had to unplug the unit to pry the metal part out with needle nose pliers. (Grab the edge of the metal and slowly push and/or pull in the right direction to unscrew). How painful. LAUGH OUT LOUD
