I have to say I'm disappointed with these lamps. They are dirty yellow, NOT white. They are not as bright as standard bulbs. I ordered them for ease of installation because of the OEM form factor. I originally ordered: Cree LED Angel Eyes Halo H8 180W CREE LED Marker Halo Light. They are bright white and lighter than stock. For the price they are a great option. The only problem is that they are difficult to install, I couldn't screw them in and tighten them. They are longer than OEM and not an L form factor, with minimal space I couldn't twist and tighten them. If anyone has installation tips and tricks or maybe a useful tool that fits, let me add it, I'd really appreciate it. I'm updating my original review after purchasing a second pair as fog lights for my BMW 335i. They are used as fog lights, bright and white, the advertised temperature of 4200K is pretty damn accurate compared to the 2700K bulbs originally installed. I also did a bit of research as to why they don't look as bright and white as Angel Eyes' DRLs. bmw. As daytime running lights, they work with full program voltage. When DRLs are used with HID headlights, the voltage is reduced by 50%. Hence the grim conclusion. All of this can be fixed with software. The DRL halo voltage can be increased as long as they only work in DRL mode and in combination with HID headlights. I am corrected for the price and ease of installation (no error codes, no resistors) after further using these bulbs in various applications. like an LED) they look damn bright and white.
