Review on πŸŽ₯ Koolehaoda YT-930 Fluid Video Head Tripod Head and Handle - Professional Grade by Antonio Bacon

Excellent price, quality and functionality!

This is excellent value for money! I prefer pan and tilt to a regular ball mount. Pan and tilt movements are smooth and well-damped, and the metal construction is lightweight yet durable. The combination handle and tilt lock are a pleasure to use. There is a spirit level in the grip of the clamping screw which is useful when using the mount for portraits as there is no 90 degree notch when unfolded. The base is large enough to hold an 18mm round bubble level (available from Revain) and adds a leveling feature not found on my ultra-compact Dolica travel tripod. The mount is screwed directly onto the tripod without a sleeve. The clamp plate is ok but too big for my Olympus camera. I really appreciate the standardized design with Arca Swiss rather than the proprietary design and use the 50mm Fotasy or Neweer Quick Release (QR) Plate with my smaller cameras. Everything else requires removing the security screws. The travel tripod and Koolehaoda mount combo works well with my Tamrac 5788 Evolution 8 photo/laptop backpack as the handle can be locked parallel to the tripod legs. This is a good compact tripod for traveling and climbing Colorado's famous 14 inch cliffs.
