Years ago, everyone wanted globe lights, but sometimes they could be problematic. For example, if one bulb went out, the entire string wouldn’t light. Not so with these. These party / string lights are very beautiful. Without looking at the description, I instantly recognized them. They are small Edison bulbs with the incandescent filaments that give them a modern-day vintage look. In other words, these old-fashioned style bulbs will light up a room or a yard.If the lights do go out, make sure you check the 125V fuse in the plug. These are easy to replace and I’ve done just that with another strand. If possible, for safety reasons I’d plug them into a GFCI outlet. There are some tips included on a single sheet of paper, including common sense safety tips. These should be mounted or supported by a suspension cable, which isn’t included.These lights are weather-resistant with an IP44 rating. These will be hung on an outside deck. In order to prevent the bulbs from breaking, the string before installing the bulbs. The socket is a G40, which is small. There are a couple of extra bulbs included in the package.
