This ring is beautiful and huge. A lot of people have complained about the darkness of the blue, it's almost the same color as most of my sapphires, they are all very dark blue (which is probably why I love this ring). The facets are not as pronounced as real gems but for the price it's great (if you want a real gem then by all means buy it, if you want a very cheap ring with a very nice imitation stone go for it this one). I shouldn't feel guilty about wearing this ring (I would feel guilty if it was a real stone). This is a beautiful bling. It tends to move on the finger due to the size of the stone, but I wanted a large stone. I recommend this ring to everyone. Expect dark blue-black, but believe me real sapphires (at least the ones I have) are still blue-black. The metal of the ring is shiny. The only complaint I have (not the rings fault) is that due to the arthritis in my fingers the metal is very cold and causes pain in the finger (never mind I didn't take the ring off and get compliments already). It is a must
