I have to use half a can for one batch

It works, but you have to use it so often! It's too expensive to use for anything I dye - I ended up with 2 batches of machine dyed fabric sealed from 1 tin. I use it on really light colored carpets that I don't want to accidentally fade.

I used it to get the dye in cotton yarn not to run so I could use it with other colors. It worked.

This seemed to work fine, but the Jacquard Dye I used it with is pretty weak.
