Used in a 2.5g Snail/Daphnia Tank My room has wide temperature swings and it maintains the tank temperature much better than the Fluval P10 it replaces (Fluval, 73-83 degrees, typically 82 degrees; Nicrew 73-77, typically 77). When the temperature hits 77 it turns off and when it hits 76 it turns back on as you would expect.
