I've had one in a 4 gallon tank for about 6 weeks and it's holding a stable temperature at 78. No problems so far. We'll see how long that lasts. I have the 25 watt version.

Bought one for my 5 gallon saltwater nano tank and bought the other for a water change. The heater is thin enough that I can throw it in my 5 gallon water jug to preheat water for a water change.

I have one of these in my 3 gallon snail tank and my snails are as happy as can be. I haven't had much luck with other heaters, they tend to stop working, but I've had a heater in my tank for a while and just bought a new one for another small tank I also have. This is a great purchase!

Used in a 2.5g Snail/Daphnia Tank My room has wide temperature swings and it maintains the tank temperature much better than the Fluval P10 it replaces (Fluval, 73-83 degrees, typically 82 degrees; Nicrew 73-77, typically 77). When the temperature hits 77 it turns off and when it hits 76 it turns back on as you would expect.

I bought this mini heater because I didn't like the ones on the market. This is the slimline heater I need for my small 3 gallon aquarium. Also has a built in thermostat so it knows when to turn it on and off. Green light means it's off and the water is at the set temperature, while red light means it's on and the water is heating.

I used a 5w Aqueon mini heater. Learning very quickly that it didn't have an internal temperature controller, I had to constantly turn it off when the temperature was over 80. So I found this mini heater while looking for a replacement. absolutely love it. My betta tank lasts at 78 max and 76 min from what I've seen. It has a status light at the top that's dim enough not to be intrusive.

I like the heater sleep and the thin appearance. I like the fact that it turns on constantly to keep the tank warm, but when my AC is running in the same room as the tank, it struggles to keep the tank temp above 72 degrees. My air conditioner runs on low to medium cooling. I have 74 degrees at home. However, the thermometer still shows 72 degrees and not warmer. When the air is shut off, the temperature rises to about 77 degrees. This is frustrating because I know my betta needs warmer water…
