Does not maintain a constant temperature in a cool room
I like the heater sleep and the thin appearance. I like the fact that it turns on constantly to keep the tank warm, but when my AC is running in the same room as the tank, it struggles to keep the tank temp above 72 degrees. My air conditioner runs on low to medium cooling. I have 74 degrees at home. However, the thermometer still shows 72 degrees and not warmer. When the air is shut off, the temperature rises to about 77 degrees. This is frustrating because I know my betta needs warmer water. I use a 25 watt that was aimed at 5 gallons. My tank is 5 liters.
