Had to temporarily separate 2 mares due to fighting which left 1 out in the cold pouring Oregon winter rain for a week. This blanket kept her warm and dry in the mud and sleet and when it was removed it looked great! Very durable and if your horse frets about the standard hind leg straps this one has one that goes under the tail, low enough not to cause problems while still holding the rug in place.
