I received this air pump as a gift and have used it to pump air into my bikes a few times. You can use it right out of the box, but it's better to fully charge the pump first. First I used it without charging, and when I filled the first wheel it was empty. Charging is easy - just plug the USB cable into any standard USB outlet. This air pump is small and thin, making it easy to carry when you need it. I am satisfied with the performance so far. The only thing that surprises me is the durability. Hope it lasts long!
