To be honest I've tried a lot of compression shorts from UA, Nike, Russell and others. It's probably the best thing I've ever worn. The side bag fits my Moto Z4 with bag and I hardly notice it while running. Running with the phone may require the right size. I tried EU:XXL US:XL and thought they were small and the phone moved a bit. It was a little lost and the phone bounced a little. I also have EU:XL US:L which is great. I'm 5 11 and 200 lbs and size EU:XL US:L fits great. Not too loose and not too tight like the Nike brand.
