Disappointing - Foot Creams and Lotions

I'm almost halfway through the bottle I received about a month ago. I wanted a more targeted foot lotion from a brand that hasn't been abused. It was one of the first to show up on Amazon and the reviews seemed good so I went with it. Interestingly, the bottle itself doesn't say anything about it not being mistreated, there's just a line in the product description above that says so, which puzzles me. Most of the cruelty-free products I've bought surely stick proudly on the container (as they should). There's a little emblem I take to certify it's vegan. Great when I want to eat it. I'm not too keen on the lotion either. I usually apply it before bed and after every shower and bath. My feet are fine but they have some dry patches that are persistent. About every week I use one of these battery operated pedicure/footpieces. However, this product does not absorb well and is a bit greasy. The end result is that after applying this to my hands to massage my feet, I have to wash my hands of all the sticky lotion. And I HATE it and it makes me less likely to want to use it. I've found that adding another layer of regular body lotion after this stuff helps it absorb better. But obviously I don't want to and shouldn't do that. And in the end it just doesn't matter. My legs don't feel softer, smoother, younger. There is no cumulative effect. Yes, it helps with the immediate dry feeling after a bath or shower (or maybe it's a second coat of another lotion I need to put on top of these to help them absorb better), but after a few hours they can feel dry again. I can't stand this feeling of dry skin. I use this bottle but will definitely not order again. I want something that deeply moisturizes, has a long-lasting effect on skin's appearance, and doesn't have to wash my hands immediately after application to get an extra sticky lotion. And I'm not sure if this product is REALLY cruelty-free.
