Review on Capresso 427 05 Coffee Maker Stainless by Lynn Johnson

Update: I called customer service because the return period for the product had expired and they asked me to just email the brewer to confirm if it is defective and offered to replace the brewer if he had one. They confirmed they would not refund my shipping cost even if it was defective. I sent it in and about 4 days after Yura received it they delivered a brand new set. It's good that they replaced the brewer, but I had to pay for shipping on top of my original purchase of a rather expensive product. There seem to be other well-rated brewers that are cheaper than this model, so it might not be the best choice considering the risk and additional cost of getting a lemon. So while it makes a decent cup of coffee, the money wasted on it ruined my experience. If it breaks, I will not pay to replace the defective ones. Original Review: Purchased in July 2020. Now it doesn't get hot or wobble. I disassembled the case to look for blockages or traces of burned circuitry. I can't find it either. Maybe we have a lemon, or maybe it's a bad build overall, but until we get a response from product support I'll leave it at that. Hoping for an update after working with tech support.
