Review on 🔧 Lisle Ridge Reamer 36500: Optimal Choice for Engine Optimization by Andres Imaging

I bought this tool to expand the cylinders on an old Case backhoe bucket that was not working due to low compression. Like other 5 star reviews here, this tool does exactly what it is designed to do if you use it properly. Yes the rubber o-ring is flimsy and will break after a use or two, mine broke after we finished the job and left it on the workbench after adjusting it to 4 1/8 inches, but I have a box of different o-rings to put on another one. If you keep the reamer's seats pressed against the block and level on top of the block, keep the pressure low in the center, and don't over-tighten the set screw, it will work exactly as it should. If you overtighten it it tends to come out of the cylinder and I can see how this can cause beveling as in some reviews of this tool. Also I've found that I take it out from time to time and clean the cutouts with a flat head screwdriver. prevents the tool from clogging or poorly cutting. It definitely works as intended, can't beat the 2 day shipping and needs a few extra o-rings to throw in between jobs and should last you for years. 200psi on a 1969 Corps and never broke a ring or seizure going in and out. Worked for me, show that I will work for you too, with a little common sense and patience.
