I thought I had found a gem with this machine. I bought it on June 28th and since then it seems to be slowly leaking. Water damage to my furniture, floor and ceiling in the ground floor room is frustrating. Also, both water caps are unreliable and broken, rendering the device unusable. Since my 30 day return period has expired, I contacted HoMedics directly to resolve the issue. I am chronic asthmatic and have to sleep with a moisturizer on every night so I have used different brands of moisturizers my whole life and have never had a problem getting a replacement. Not with HoMedics. They complicate the return process. They have to get the box, take the defective unit to the UPS store, and send it back before they even think about sending a new one. Other companies I've used in the past will be very apologetic, send out a replacement quickly, send you a returns label and make sure it includes UPS shipping. Not homedics. Very disappointing! I receive the box, go to UPS and ask for a full refund. I will no longer deal with HoMedics. Frustrated buyer
