Blood, sweat and irritation

Read Morrigan Alexandros' review, it's right. The instructions are utter nonsense and the videos provided are just as bad. Installing the speed monitor was easy enough, the bluetooth device was easy too. I had a small Allen wrench to remove the pedal and install the cadence sensor. My pedal was very difficult to release and when I released it it just flew open and my hand got caught in the mechanism cutting the joint to the bone. After a 3 hour drive to the ER and 9 stitches, I got home and finished installing the cadence sensor. It doesn't sync with my phone, which is something a lot of people have had issues with. The problem people are having is the lack of instructions to help people do this. In order for your phone to pair with Bluetooth, you need to align the cadence sensor and speed sensor at the same time and your app/phone will show the sync. The only problem is that everything can turn green and display in sync, but it's not actually in sync. When I first synced, the cadence sensor wasn't actually synced, only the speed sensor, but I couldn't figure that out until my first ride. After my first ride with a cadence sensor, I had to adjust both sensors closer to the BlueTooth device by tilting the bluetooth towards the cadence sensor and positioning the speed sensor close enough to the bluetooth for it to read properly. The next day I made a longer journey. When I got to my car after the ride to check my stats, the app stopped reading my cadence for the last few miles, so I went to match it on my bike. IT'S GONE! The cadence sensor must have been pinched by my foot and immediately pulled off the bike. With the cost of my ER visit and losing the cadence sensor, I probably should have just spent the money on a Garmin. Oh, and for some reason the speedometer showed my top speed as 65 mph!
