Smedvig Capital: Painstakingly And Passionately Developing Tech-based Businesses In The UK And Its Environs.

Smedvig Capital to me, is more of a partnership seeking company that have successfully partnered and helped over 70 companies and is still seeking to partner with businesses which are especially tech-based.
Since it's establishment in 1996, Smedvig Capital has only partnered with the above number of businesses (70+) which is of concern because given a company that has been on ground for that number of years, one would expect such company to have much more partnerships than that, because even companies with similar aims established later than that time have done more than what Smedvig Capital has done.
Nevertheless, looking at the above issue from another perspective, one can say that the number of companies partnered with being low in relationship to the number of years since establishment might be because there's a specific target that Smedvig Capital has. This company is not interested in partnering with just any company out there but companies and businesses that are tech-based and has the criteria and requirements that they're looking for. So, the company is mainly just being strict, targeted and specific with the requirements for engaging in partnership with any business. 
Another reason I feel could have resulted in the low number of businesses partnered with over the years is the regional or context limitation that Smedvig Capital has. This is coupled with their targetted aim at a specific region, as they only search for tech-based businesses in the UK and its evirons in Europe to partner with. This might be a little biased on their part as well as a limitation to their services, but as I've said earlier that different companies have different set targets and aims.
Although, from an advantageous point of view, Smedvig Capital has successfully helped and developed over 70 companies through investments and building strong of relationships. Finally, Smedvig Capital understands that to achieve great things takes time and this can also be inferred from the above as them just being painstakingly taking their time to see that the success of a particular business is affirmed and undisputable.

It has successfully partnered with over 70 companies and helped them scale and navigate business hurdles.
A number of their current investments include Veeve, Profile Pensions, Simplify, Lovespace and Xeneta just to name a few.
