Review on De "Longhi Magnifica ECAM 22.360 coffee machine, black by Franciszka Koliber ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

An excellent purchase overall. You won't ever want to go back to instant coffee if you pick the beans that suit your preferences. The strength and roasting levels of various grains vary. When changing beans or using the machine for the first time, it is best to make yourself a small cup of coffee first. This will serve as a gauge or check that the machine is configured properly and that the beans are chosen to suit your preferences, as the flavor in other cooking modes will be roughly the same (stronger or weaker, depending on how much water is used). In other words, if the flavor is sour and you don't like it, it's worthwhile to ground the beans more finely and lower the strength in the settings before brewing another little cup of coffee. The key point to be noted is that ground coffee beans that have been through boiling water enter the container for processed coffee. As a result, they adhere to the bottom, making it challenging to wash the container without water. Furthermore, it's best to move quickly. If you wash this container with water, it is preferable to flush the water and "waste" into the toilet because coffee grounds will quickly clog the sink. Napkins or paper towels are still a viable alternative. We clear the container from the thick material, discard everything, and then just rinse it with water.

Pros
  • There is a bean section, a water tank, and a milk tank—all of which are very simple to use and maintain. Coffee with milk foam is ready in a few minutes after the grains, milk, and water tanks have been filled, a cup has been set on the coffee maker, and the Cappuccino button has been depressed. You have a choice of 1-2 small cups (80 ml) or 1-2 large cups (120 ml) of coffee, both without milk. Simply reduce the degree of crushing if the coffee is "sour". Additionally, picking a strength is simple. Cleaning is incredibly easy since every time you switch the machine on and off, boiling water is sent through it to flush out the coffee grounds inside. Separate container for coffee that has previously been processed. The machine also runs boiling water through the milk tank to remove any residual milk from the inside. The milk tank has a foam regulator and a Clean mode. There is also an integrated descaling routine; as long as you read the manual that came with the coffee maker, nothing too challenging.
Cons
  • One can point to the cost, but after using it for more than three months, I can affirm that a tank of milk and milk foam are not really essential. A model without a milk tank from the same manufacturer is also available for 1/4 less money (however there is a substitute: a steam-releasing faucet that can be used to manually make foam). In the second month of use, I also started drinking either pure coffee or coffee with ice cream or cream. The milk tank also has a minor drawback in that it does not fit snugly into the coffee maker, thus there might be a few milk flecks at the point where the two parts meet. If that's the case, it seems pointless to explain what will happen if these drips are not instantly swept away.
