Perfect, just perfect.

I'm just starting out with price ties and I can't contract for some items yet. I could carry my Cricut by cutting out circles or drawing and cutting them with scissors (glue head base and back) but this die gives me three-sided access to the die area to place material inside and is easy to see to line up mark on . where i want to meet It's a little tricky to use the heavy card stock/thin card stock I use but. A quick way to "emboss" lots of circles to work with. I was a little apprehensive about what I would be getting for the $ but it's worth it. Plastic upper and lower part, metal shear ring and metal jaws (with springs). It has a "lock" to keep it flat for storage. I'll see how it holds up under heavy use and update it later. I have a job at 1200 (ie x2) and this should show how it works. Edges are fairly sharp on a light poster; I hope it doesn't get fluffy, chewed/glued. So far it seems worth the money, but it's still interesting to see if it can hold up to heavy use. * Update, less than 24 hours and I'm almost addicted to using it for a task so simple. It's a strong print though, it takes a bit of force to cut through the thin poster board I use. I need something to just punch circles like this instead of drawing them with a compass and then cutting them with scissors and that's SNAP. Upper right corner, be careful, I pinched my right ring finger several times when pressing (with both hands). With the slight "opening angle" it sits in, it's very easy to see where to hit along the edge, press lightly to prevent anything from slipping, then apply pressure. ka chunk Another perfect circle. I will invest in other stamp sizes from this company. I wish they had made a 2 5/8" too! *Upgrade, hitting the 3/4 mark for the reason/project I bought it for. It's starting to get a little boring, though Just make sure to put the base of your thumb in - that part of the hand over the "ek" next to the cyan button, then place your other hand on it and press on it and it behaves just using it for this one project the cost will be a dime to break the circle which is a huge improvement over the investment it's worth! The springs aren't compressed. It still cuts pretty clean. To one of these To use a large punch (just bought and tested 2.25"), you must place it on a hard, flat surface. Guide the part to be punched. Place the palm (base of the hand) on the EK of the punch when the object is positioned as desired and press down slightly The object punched will stop moving and you can easily tell when it's "caught". Then place your other hand on the first and squeeze firmly. kachunk One more thing, when you first receive yours and take them out of the box, release the latch holding it closed, then let go. and put it on a flat surface and close it gently but firmly and let it open (don't hit anything in it) several times gently but firmly. If there is a very slight deformation OR a burr on the cut teeth, it will be disassembled. After a few, it should move smoothly. use it now I really recommend keeping it open so you don't compress the springs. continues. It's not that sharp an edge, but far from a blurry, dull, or jagged edge. Still very acceptable. I'll probably remove it, but not any time soon, and I'll definitely replace it with another identical one. I love my EK kicks. I still wish EK would make a shellless 2 inch cartridge.
