LG CX OLED TV 65 inch with Soundsend + 5.1 Klipsch WISA Speaker Setup. I bought it a few months ago and I have to admit that there were bugs across the board and lots of settings juggling/tweaking back and forth. And that is NOT the whole WISA problem. LG also had to fix something. This worked BUT I had audio/playback issues with Dolby Vision + ATMOS/TrueHD content. Both the TV and the WISA setup had to be updated before this issue was resolved. And I'm not just talking about old updates. Both SoundSend and LG released updates almost monthly, which slowly solved all my problems. I can now enjoy really great sound with it. System setup without the need to connect speakers. Now for the complaints. These are not actual PROBLEMS, but rather complaints and areas for improvement: 1. When the content is playing, it takes about 3 seconds to hear any sound. AUDIO IN SYNC. do not get me wrong. The sound is NEVER asynchronous. It just takes a little time to get started. I attribute this to the wireless nature of this technology and the fact that we transmit quite a bit of data (lossless audio). This has improved since the updates but is still there and a bit annoying when you are fast forwarding content. Absolutely NO SUPPORT for DTS audio. Not all DTS audio variants are supported. That doesn't mean you won't hear ANYTHING. It simply means that the audio will be output in stereo. This is a pretty big complaint. I know that DTS audio requires a license fee from the manufacturer, but all quality audio receivers support ALL standards. That means every variant of DTS and every variant of Dolby Digital. I really hope SoundSend can fix this issue and apply it as a firmware update to their hardware.
