Does the job! - Bluetooth and FM transmitter

Much better than the Klipsch RP1 hub. which is not compatible with 4K. With this device you get advanced Audio Return Channel (e-ARC) connectivity to all TV inputs, a simple interface via a smart app, and all at a very affordable price.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Some issues

DTS decoding not supported

Easy installation but DOES NOT SUPPORT DTS decoding as stated by the seller in the above answer. The seller then updated their answer to state otherwise. Very disappointed with this, will be returning this unit and using RP-HUB1 until DTS decoding is added. The addition of ATMOS is great, but shouldn't come at the expense of the removal of DTS.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Security

Better than Klipsch or Axiim hub. The best music quality. Surprisingly, the subwoofer drives better. I have Klipsch 7.2 speakers. Thought I wasted my money on Klipsch. Very mad at Klipsch for not supporting such an expensive product. Works with most TVs with ARC. Klipsch hub, both Denons had problems. worth your money. minuses. Delays of 2-3 seconds despite firmware update (V1.28). Falls sometimes. Hoping this gets fixed in future versions. There is no Bluetooth.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Good

The signal drops every 30 seconds up to 3 minutes. Constant audio interruptions. I tried 2 different soundend devices as I thought they were the problem. It's just that Wisa isn't ready yet. I've tried optical and HDMI connections with the same lousy results. Also tried platinum audio setup with soundend and also klipsch and signal drop like no other. The TVs I tried sound on were: lg oled, lg 8500 series, hicense R8 and hicense which is a few years old but still has Arc.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Interval

No compromise design choices

Bought to replace the Klipsch RP-Hub1 like many others. Also, like many others, I didn't notice the DTS exception. Luckily I can decode the audio elsewhere and stream this uncompressed PCM, but that's not the ideal solution for me. Atmos is good but seems a bit forward looking at the moment. (As far as I know, there are no wisa-capable height speakers). Also, it takes between 500ms and 1 second for the device to start playing audio after receiving a signal. I haven't experienced the "random"…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some bugs

Too much interference with portable audio and video equipment

I really wanted to like this product and bought it as soon as it became available. I've paired this with a LG UM6970 4K TV and Wisa Klipsch RW and HDMI ARC series speakers. I gave 1 star because the soundsend app doesn't work without providing a location ID. After that, I was able to set up the system without much effort. Klipsch speakers sound amazing when soundsend is working properly, which doesn't happen very often. I gave another 2 stars for Soundsend which annoyingly shuts down every 30…

Now it works great! (After firmware update)

LG CX OLED TV 65 inch with Soundsend + 5.1 Klipsch WISA Speaker Setup. I bought it a few months ago and I have to admit that there were bugs across the board and lots of settings juggling/tweaking back and forth. And that is NOT the whole WISA problem. LG also had to fix something. This worked BUT I had audio/playback issues with Dolby Vision + ATMOS/TrueHD content. Both the TV and the WISA setup had to be updated before this issue was resolved. And I'm not just talking about old updates. Both…

The best wireless technology with reliable performance

I'm one of the first users of this technology. I'm also a retired engineer. I have worked with WISA to fix issues with the earliest devices and the product has continued to improve. Many more features are planned and in development. As with many wireless devices, there is a delay of approximately ½ second when first starting a streaming source or when changing streaming sources. The device must recognize the format (Bitstream, Dolby Digital, Dolby Atmos, etc.), apply the correct decoder to the…

Pros
