Excellent carpet. I use it when teaching my dog to "walk on my mat". It's comfortable and has a nice non-slip grip on the bottom to keep it from moving on a hardwood floor. I also sometimes use it under his food bowls to soak up water and food he spills on the ground. My only concern is that if you have a dog that likes to chew on things. The fibers of this rug are easily pulled out of the rug itself. So you need to watch out for young children if they tend to chew so they don't get these fibers in their stomachs. Other than that, it's a great looking and working rug.
