This speaker offers great sound at half the price of JBL PULSE. I bought one and didn't get it until I went to the beach and ran out and just bought a JBL while we were there. And it had good sound and great bass, but it started crackling as it neared maximum volume. ArcWave has a louder sound and doesn't crackle when it gets louder. Although the bass was slightly better on the JBL, I only bought the speaker for basic listening, so I returned the JBL and loved the ArcWave. It's 5/5 for sound quality, ease of use, connectivity and price in my opinion, which makes it the best investment in my opinion. I would give JBL 4/5 but ArcWave is better for me.
