Review on 🚽 12V RV Macerator Pump - SewerFlo Quick Release, 12GPM by Alfredo Testerman

Bought to pump my black water tank to a septic tank on my trailer. Minor issues/things to know: 1. You will need a length of 1" clear hose, hose clamps and a barbed garden hose adapter. I purchased these items at a local hardware store. Your tolerances have run out, I had to sand the sides and bottom of the 3" Camco Elbow with 80 grit sandpaper to attach the pump to it. I was planning on leaving a positive review. This isn't the case. The Pump worked initially It took about 10 minutes to fill the tank (the instructions say it shouldn't run for more than 15 minutes at a time) I did NOT let it run dry Towards the end I turned it off and the toilet flushed several times to clear the cistern and as soon as there was more sewage in the pipe (I have a clear Camco fitting so I can see what's coming out) I tried running it again and boom nothing nothing at all no clicking etc. now i'm stuck with sewage in my RV's drain line, pump and 150ft garden hose.. i spent hours and bought an electrical tester.. i found that the switch d efect was because I could get 12 volts on the input side of the switch but nothing on the connector. Switch, ran a cable straight from my connection cables to the cable connector coming from the pump. It turned out oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I contacted the seller and he offered to send me a new pump. I told them I just needed a switch but didn't mind a new pump. Will update with what they post. Tip: You can clean this by removing the screw cap on the back of the pump to reveal the shaft. I used a drill with a flat bit to turn it. Just something to try if you're constipated. I found this information in another product manual, the instructions that came with this pump don't mention it.
