I have bought several dozen beds for my dog, all very soft and it seems he has not liked any of them except this bedding for a kennel, except in winter when he sleeps in his cave bed. I use this bed in three different rooms because he usually prefers hard floors over soft mattresses. It's about an inch and a half thick and there's really nothing special about it other than the fact that they dry flat. I've been using my last one for about a year and after drying the filling started to curl up so I contacted the customer. Support (through the pet dream website). After a month of dispute, the CS team informed me that they would honor their warranty and replace my bed for me. It could be softer, but that's the way it is. I wash all of his beds once every 2-3 weeks or so and none of them are ripped or torn. I am very impressed.
