I was very hesitant to make this purchase based on the reviews. However, after using this camera for a month, I found that most of the issues people are having are related to their data plans rather than the camera itself. After installing the cellular card, it took a full 24 hours for the camera to work properly, but after that I had absolutely no problems. It worked wonderfully! I love being able to check on my horse when I'm out and about or when I'm not at home. Being able to stream it live from my phone is so great and with everything backed up to the cloud it's easy to check specific times. Don't be afraid of reviews. If the camera doesn't work right away, give the cellular card a day to connect to the network. I highly recommend this camera! I bought a cell phone card from the Walmart store, downloaded the app and just added additional data from the phone app when needed. Also, I didn't buy a solar panel to charge the camera, I just left the charger plugged in as there was an outlet near where I installed the camera.
