Well made product and easy to install if you have some mechanical experience. You will need to remove some of the interior trim around the hood latch. It works, but a little difficult. Then cut off what's left of the original molded plastic handle. I did this with the Sonicrafter tool. The guy in the video I was watching used a pipe cutter. Also, I carefully used an angle grinder to create a small flat surface (D profile) on the rod itself. This step isn't strictly necessary, but I felt it gave the set screws more compression. My only complaint is that the included Allen wrench slipped into the head of the set screw when tightening. I have a set of metric allen wrenches and the wrench from my tool box works much better. I can open the bonnet again without pliers and the look is just like the original!
