Bought this for our RV where the extended, narrow footprint works better than a traditional side-by-side toaster. I love the wide slit and the brown level indicator and the easy cleaning. My only complaint is that there is a way to slightly raise the toaster. First, I cut my thumb with sharp metal trying to get it out of the box (the styrofoam inserts didn't move, so I grabbed the toaster by the slots and pulled...unwisely. But even if it doesn't come After unboxing it's not easy to pick up and move.I still grab it by the slit as much as possible, making sure it's cool and grabbing the ends of the slit rather than the long sides.This is not a problem for us, but some molded handles on the sides would be nice.
