Review on 🪚 WoodOwl 08808: Efficient 18 Inch Auger Bit with 16 Inch Diameter by Fred Meeks

I've drilled many holes in many things in my life and probably have more drill bits than almost anyone who reads Revain drill bit reviews. I have single and double end drill bits, marine drill bits, twist drill bits, pins, bell drill bits, 36" electric flexible drill bits, concrete drill bits, lots of hole saws, you name it. I have drilled many hundreds of holes up to 2.5" with power drills and marine drills. This drill is really good for selectively clean holes deep in hard materials. The toughest wood drilling job I've ever done is deep butt drilling, and while I haven't used it on all woods, this bit performed better than any bit I've ever used. I can't even figure out how; maybe extra rigidity so it doesn't flex to follow the grain when deep in the hole, making it harder to drill. Maybe a teflon coating that allows chips to be drawn to the surface. I don't know, but this exercise amazed me.
