Review on πŸ“ Revolutionary FastCap PSSR25 Lefty Righty Measuring Tool for Accurate Measurements by Jeremy Sabey

Innovative but inferior

I bought this tape measure after it had been on my wish list for over a year. When my main tape measure failed (I accidentally saw the tape measure in half) I remembered this item and bought it. I also bought another tape measure from one of the big stores, the same brand (Kobalt) as my previous tape measure. I've compared them and there's almost a day and night between them in terms of feel and quality. The Kobalt feels sturdy like it needs a few drops while the Fastcap doesn't. The build quality and quality of materials in between are evident when you hold them in your hands. The plastic on the Fastcap seems flimsy, I'm not a plastic specialist, but it's definitely worse than what's used on the Kobalt. The steel feels thicker on the Kobalt as does the vinyl compared to the Fastcap I am returning. The real Cobalt movement feels and runs much faster in the belt and with powerful action and recoil which feels like a quality product. This isn't a Kobalt review, but I needed a comparison to highlight Fastcap's shortcomings. I bought Fastcap for $10 and Kobalt for $15. I would happily pay over $25 for a Fastcap roulette with Kobalt build and quality. I wish I could even love Fastcap, but I just can't. Even with all their innovative ideas, it can't beat me when compared to a better quality roulette with basic features. Fastcap, If you are reading this review you have a very innovative product. With a range of features not found anywhere else. However, you'll be better off upping the build quality and materials a few notches. As I said in this review I would happily pay $25 for a better product.
