The fan only has 1 speed and is quite noisy.

The fan is either on or off and has only 1 speed. The heating element can be switched off (fan mode only) or have 2 different heating levels. It's quite noisy, so using it while sleeping at night may be an issue for some. I haven't had any issues with the fuse shutting it off when triggered and the rocking function seems to work well. Noise might not be a problem if you like white noise as it's like a box fan running at high speed.
