The case itself is solid and feels solid. Dropped it a few times and everything is fine. The problem is the D-ring that comes with the kit. It's weak and doesn't stay closed. It was just luck that I didn't completely lose my suitcase and its contents. I bought it for school and several classmates warned me that "something fell out" of my bag.
